These black and white long john pants were the natural progression of the long john bloomers. Made of soft stretch knit with a stretchy waistband and leg cuffs, they fit a bit closer to the body than bloomers but the stretch ensures that baby can still move and shake. The flap is purely esthetic and doesn't open (although I thought it would be interesting if it did). And, for those not familiar with long johns, the flap is for the back.

Why should baby girls have all the fun with leggings? These long john pants are like comfy sweatpants with a lot more flair fitting snug to the leg. I like the idea of both baby boys and girls lounging in style and the buttons on the bum do the trick.
